Vernon Glen Revell of Saginaw
Passed away on July 14th, 2022, at the age of 93. He was born on November 23rd, 1928, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Adam & Jesse (Inman) Revell and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. Vernon married Katherine Stacy on February 6th, 1956, and the couple spent over 55 years together. She preceded him in death on October 5th, 2011. Vernon was a hard worker and spent his working days as a millwright for GM Plant 7 in Saginaw, retiring in 1987. In his free time, he loved handcrafting yard decorations as an expert woodworker. An outdoorsman, Vernon enjoyed walks out in the woods and watching his trees grow. He also loved keeping his mind active by completing crosswords and other puzzles, and by watching Jeopardy! with Kate. Vernon was active in his community as party of the Chain Lake Patrol Association and the St. Helen’s VFW.
Vernon is survived by children Steve and Laura Revell of Hemlock, Mike and Tanya Revell of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tim and Patty Revell of Saginaw; grandchildren Adam and Katie Revell, Brandon and Tammy Revell, Chad and Brittney Revell, Joshua Revell, Jessica Revell, Ryan and Janell Revell, and Justin and Victoria Revell; and great grandchildren Oliver Revell, Owen Revell, Jaxson Revell, Emilia Revell, Elliot Revell, Sammy Revell, Brooklyn White, Emersyn Revell, and Noah Revell; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Vernon was preceded in death by siblings Blanche and Ike Johnson, and Reggie Revell.
Funeral services for Vernon will occur at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 20th, at W.L. Case & Company Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw, Rev. Rob Richards presiding. Visitation will occur at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19th, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Garden.
