Victor M. Leal, Jr.

Victor M. Leal, Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved father, grandfather and brother, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 2, 2017, age 82 years. He was born on January 31, 1935, son of the late Victor and Maria (Muniz) Leal, Sr., in Saginaw. Victor served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He retired from the General Motors Malleable Iron Plant after many years of service. Victor was a member of Harvest Assembly of God. He loved to read the Bible and worship the Lord. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and being surrounded by family Surviving are his children, Ricardo Leal, Louisa (Frank) Oviedo, Benjamin Leal and Stephanie (Frank) Tello; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Guadalupe (Nancy) Leal, his sisters, Gregoria Delgado and Lela Vargas; the mother of his children, Margaret "Lupita" Leal, his good friend Chuck and a special thank you to Leana Rueda for all her love and special care. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Leal and brother, Phillip Leal. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Harvest Assembly of God, 625 S. 17th. Street. Pastor Jerry Flores will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
