Vincent R. "Vince" Calligaro of Saginaw, Michigan
The family of Vincent "Vince" Richard Calligaro sadly announces his passing on September 24, 2019, after a 30 year struggle with heart disease. Vince was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he graduated in 1970 from Arthur Hill High School. He served as a lay person on boards for Saginaw County Mental Health. He leaves behind two daughters: Jilian (Paul) Hernandez, Lindsey (Tyler) Dugan; nine grandchildren: Sadie, Esperanza, Maddie, Gabrielle, Gunner, Noah, Thaddaeus, Silas, and TimothyVincent. He will be greatly missed by his brother, Thomas (Constance) Calligaro; nephew, Kristopher (Jennifer) Calligaro; niece Janelle (James) Hunt; four great nieces and nephews: MaKayla, Jacob, Hannah, and Benjamin. Also surviving are many dear friends.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Paul Hernandez will officiate with a private burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Family will be greeting friends for visitation at the funeral chapel on Friday, September 27, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw County Mental Health Authority.
