Virgil Keith Liebrock

Virgil Keith Liebrock Merrill, Michigan Passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018, at Alma Hospital. Age 89 years. The son of the late Nellie Irene (Holton) and Orvin Liebrock was born in 1929. He married Sibylle Charlotte Wranik, February 6, 1956. She passed away October 30, 2008. Virgil served with the U. S. Army. He engaged in farming in Merrill. He was also employed by General Motors, Saginaw Manufacturing retiring with over 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Michael and Jarmila Liebrock; Steven and Teresa Liebrock; four grandchildren, Elisabeth, Tristan, Joshua and Hanna; a brother and a sister-in-law, Merle and Joan Liebrock; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, Vincent, Elton and Darwin Liebrock and Wilma Becker and Geraldine Jackson. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with Military burial in Lakefield Twp. Cemetery under the auspices of the Hemlock-Merrill V.F.W. Post 7302.
