Virginia A. "Ginny" Spatz

Virginia A. "Ginny" Spatz Bridgeport, Michigan Our beloved friend passed away On July 18, 2018, at the age of 96 years. Ginny was born February 14, 1922, in Saginaw to the late Otto and Adelhaide (Ludwig) Oehring. She married the love of her life, Norman Spatz, on August 4, 1952; he predeceased her June 22, 2003. She retired from General Motors, the old Saginaw Chevrolet Manufacturing Plant, after 41 years. She had also worked for Lufkin Rule. She loved animals, working and was very detail oriented. Ginny will be missed by many friends and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marcella Strobel and Amanda (Carl) Howard. Those left to cherish her memory would like to thank the staff of the 6th floor at Covenant and Cartwright, for the wonderful care provided. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Cartwright Hospice Residence.
