Virginia Ann "Ginny" Schuler Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, and sister went home to the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the age of 68 years. Ginny was born August 15, 1948, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania to the late Rev. John and Jessie (Wireback) Iliff. She was a First Grade teacher at Herig Elementary for many years and she loved teaching. She enjoyed reading and shared that joy with the children at Holy Cross as part of the Read Association of Saginaw County. She was a member of the "Birthday Bunch" that was made up of a few of her high school friends. Ginny loved attending Detroit Tiger games. She also enjoyed attending Broadway in Saginaw at the Dow Event Center and Town Talk at Horizons Conference Center. She was a global traveler making trips to Greece, Ireland, China, the British Isles, and cruising the Caribbean. She also made trips to the Outer Banks making many friends. She delighted in giving gifts to those she loved and always made time to take care of her grandchildren. Ginny will be dearly missed by her husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Schuler; her son, Jonathan (Brigitte) Schuler; grandchildren, Jonathan and Adeline Schuler; siblings, Bob (Meriedith) Iliff, Esther Romero, Jessie (Bill) Golombisky; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John Iliff and nephew, Joe Iliff. Memorial services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd with Pastor Paul Biber officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
