Virginia B. Ewald

Passed away at Covenant Cooper Hospital on Saturday, June 14, 2014 after a lingering illness. She was 88 years of age. Virginia B. Barror was born January 17, 1926, in Saginaw to the late William and Bernice (O'Millian) Barror. She married William R. Ewald on June 24, 1944 and he predeceased her on June 9, 2012. She had a wide variety of interests including crafts, painting, sewing, bowling, and golf. She loved to cook and enjoyed fishing. Virginia is survived by her three children, William R. (Diane) Ewald, Thomas T. (Vicki) Ewald, and Kay Martin; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and a stepsister, Mary Margaret Bedford. She was predeceased by a granddaughter and a great-grandson. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the W. L. Case Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. The Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate. Friends may call at the Case Chapel on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
