Virginia E. Quick

Quick, Virginia E. Hemlock, MI Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the age of 81 years. Virginia was born September 8, 1933, in Saginaw to the late George Sr. and Lillie (Ackerman) Westendorf. She first married Kedric Tyson; he predeceased her in 1975. She then married Henry Quick; he predeceased her in 2000. She worked for many years for the Midland County Fairgrounds as office manager. She enjoyed recipes and cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Stoltow and Wendy (Rodney) Lamb; grandchildren, Jamie (Terry) Waters and Ryan (Hannah) Lamb; great-granddaughter, Hannah Waters; siblings, Bernice Cole and Albert (Joanne) Westendorf; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Glenn Stoltow and her siblings, Ida (Red) Shank and George (Elnora) Westendorf Jr. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
