Bauman, Virginia L. Freeland, Michigan Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 with her family by her side at the age of 82. Virginia was born September 9, 1932, in Republic, MI to the late Louene and George Ahlgren Sr. She married John Junior Bauman February 3, 1951; he predeceased her September 15, 2007. She was an Art and Social Studies teacher for over 20 years and Kindergarten volunteer for the Hemlock Public Schools. Virginia was a self-taught organ/piano player and would play at Bible School and Merrill Wesleyan Church. She loved Auction Sales, Garage Sales, and her work with the AIMS ministry. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and inspirational grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her children, Dale (Terri) Bauman, Dean (Marsha) Bauman, Daryl (Roxane) Bauman; grandchildren, Christopher, Heather, and Ryan Bauman, Michelle (Ken) Olinger, Angie (Chad) Hugo, Jamie (Jason) Trumble, Joe Bauman, Todd (Vanessa) Bauman; great grandchildren, Emma, Lydia, Peyton, Dean, Vivian, Jalynn, Elsie, and Hannah; and eight siblings and their families. She was predeceased by her in-laws, John and Caddie Bauman Sr. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Merrill Wesleyan Church 3765 N. Chapin Rd. Private family burial will take place later at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road and again on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
