Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, bartender and friend to many passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. Age of 88 years.
The daughter of the late Stella (Pogereski) and Frank Scott, was born on April 21, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married William Vincent Hammond on November 14, 1949; he preceded her in death on July 5, 2007. Ginny loved to play bingo, the Casino, Country Western music and spend time with her family.
Surviving are five children and their spouses: Diana Rappley; Darlene and Michael Savage; Gary and Renee Hammond; Jeffrey Hammond; Gregory Hammond; MI; four grandchildren and their spouses: Michelle and Eric Theriault; Charles and Amy Rappley; Stephanie Savage and Damon Lytle; Douglas and Megan Hammond; five great grandchildren: Hayley and Jake Theriault; Blake Rappley; Eleanor and Elisabeth Lytle; her brothers and sisters Marie Roenicke; Stephanie and Steve Sowulewski; Ray and Thomas Scott; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, Frank Jr, Chester and Stanley Scott, Frances Browning and Barbara Deegan.
Honoring Ginny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with W. L. Case and Company.
