Walter C. Kuhlman Bridgeport, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 78 years. Walter was born May 15, 1939, in Midland to the late Arthur and Gladys (Michalski) Kuhlman. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. He retired from Wright-K Technology after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, and creating beautiful things by his woodworking. He loved his pets and being kind to all animals. He will fondly be remember by the people that he loved for his wonderful sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 53 years, Loisann "Lois" (Cooper) Kuhlman; children, Penny (Steve) Kuhlman, Dawn (Joseph) Ewing, Walter (Sara) Kuhlman, Crystal (David) Falcon; grandchildren, Michael, Nathan, Daniel Kuhlman, James Ewing, Abbigail Turner, Alexis Kuhlman, and Emmalee Kuhlman; sister, Betty Zietz; and several nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jessica Goss-Kuhlman. Funeral services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway. Chaplain Doug Basset will officiate with military honors rendered by VFW Post 1859. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Angels Among Us or to the Alzheimers Association.
