Wanda Mackey

Hemlock, Michigan 

Passed away on January 31, 2024. Age 88 years. Wanda was born on June 19, 1935, in Hemlock to the late Albert and Eleonora (Fiting) Frederick. She married Milton Mackey on August 5, 1958; he predeceased her on November 27, 2011. Wanda was a farm wife and homemaker, and a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hemlock. 

Surviving are her son and daughter, David Mackey and Susan Mackey, sister-in-law Lois Frederick, nephews and niece: Brian and Joann Frederick and family, Keith and Amy Frederick and Family, and Brenda Frederick and friend Kathy and family. 

She was predeceased by her husband Milton, parents Albert and Eleonora Frederick, and brother Ralph Frederick. 

A private committal service will take place at Fremont Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John Lutheran Church in Hemlock.
