Darling, Wayne A. Saginaw, MI Beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle, went home to be with the Lord on 17 July 2018. Wayne Allen Darling was born on October 13, 1934, Fosters, Saginaw County Michigan, son of the late Walter and Veronica Darling. He graduated from Arthur Hill Trade School in 1952, completed his Apprenticeship in the trade as Tool Maker in 1957 at Helfrecht Machine Company, Saginaw Michigan. He worked at various Machine tool shops in the Saginaw area and retired from General Motors in 1992. His hobbies included the restoration of 1938 Studebaker President and operating a small machine shop machining new car and tractor parts for his friends. He was a proud member of the Central Michigan Old Car Club, and Studebaker International Driver Club. He married Helen B. Wilt, on May 28, 1955. They made their home in Hemlock and Saginaw area after he retired. Surviving are son Ronald, daughter Joanne, granddaughter Jenni, sister Carol, brother Dale, sister-in-law Donna, brother-in-law Robert Marshall, many nieces and nephews and many beloved friends. Besides his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his grandson Louis, niece Kathy, brother Duane, sister Jean, sisters-in-law Lou Ann Darling, Alice Kruger, Elaine Wegner, brothers-in-law Maurice Kruger, Robert Wegner, Sr. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Robert Marshall Jr. will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
