Wayne passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the age of 76 years. He was born on February 26, 1944 to the late George and Valeria (Baleda) Reske in Detroit, Michigan. Wayne graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit. He married Carol Corbeau on August 7, 1965 in the city of Wayne, Michigan. The two were married for 55 years.

Wayne served our county in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years where he served in the Vietnam War. He owned Reske’s Roost, the family farm in Florence, Wisconsin for about eight years. Wayne truly enjoyed horses and horseback riding. He was a specialized splinde grinder in the tool and die industry for over 30 years. He was employed with Apollo Broach in Livonia, Michigan for nearly 15 years before he retired. Wayne was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Greenbush Senior Center and the Dickinson Community Theater. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving him is his wife Carol Reske; their children Stacey (Fumio) Narita, Wayne A. (Kristie Lemieux) Reske II, Melissa (Brian) Dodd; grandchildren Amanda Koehler, Matthew (Sara Wilkins) Koehler, Sarah (Rob) O’Neal, Shannon (Cody) Vankeuren, Savanna (Brian) Reske, Zachary Reske, Mya Dodd, Phoebe Narita, Ken Narita, Mike Narita, Joshua Narita, Jacob Narita and his great grandchildren; Aubree Reske, Brayden Reske, Colt Vankeuren and Finley O’Neal. Wayne is also survived by his brothers Jim (Ann) Flutur and Tony (Toni) Fluter.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
