Wayne L. Brethour Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 78 years. The son of the late Lucille (Hallett) Miller and Lennox Newton Brethour was born October 21, 1938 in Sunderland, Ontario, Canada coming to Saginaw in 1950. He graduated from Saginaw High School. Wayne married Sally Gregory, June 21, 1958. She survives him. He had owned and operated Dorr Auto Parts and Dater Auto Supply. He was a very active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #82 where he achieved the Pilgrim Degree, was a three time Past Governor, and was Administrator for many years. He was a member of the Jaycees, where he won the Eugene Pfeiffer award in 1963. He served as a little league coach and Boy Scout Master with Zilwaukee Troop 377. He was a member of American Legion Post #439 and enjoyed playing pool, golf, gardening and working in the yard. Surviving besides his wife, Sally, are three children and their spouses, Wayne A. and Kimberly Brethour; Gregory and Lori Brethour; Karen and Dan Doyle; four grandchildren, Tabetha Lynn Brethour; Justin Michael Brethour; Jessica Nicol Brethour; Brett Daniel Doyle; four great grandchildren, Cyruss Stoumbos; Kristos A. Stoumbos, Adrianna Stoumbos, Chase Brethour; a sister-in-law, Gloria Brethour; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Wayne A. Brethour II; his brother, Ross Maxwell and his step-father, Anson Miller. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday.
