Wendell Stacy

Wendell Allen Stacy Sr. Of Saginaw, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Chesaning Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 60 years old, born on January 3, 1959 in Saginaw to the late John Robert Stacy and Janice Elaine (Shackelford) Stacy. He was married to Barbara Johnson, but later they divorced, and from that union had three children who survive him: Wendell A. Stacy Jr., Thurston A. J. (Delfina) Stacy, and Kristin B. J. (Shalona) Stacy. Also surviving him are grandchildren: Wendell A. Stacy III, Larissa Stacy, Taj N. Stacy; brothers: John Robert Stacy Jr., Michael Dennis Stacy; aunt: Joan Falk. Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Philip Duane Stacy; his uncles: Brewster, Wendell, and Kenneth Shackelford; aunt: Barbara Martin; and friends: Isaiah Coleman Sr., Roger C. Coleman Sr., and Lee Reeves. Wendell will also be dearly missed by friends who were like family: Joseph T. Brown, Jeremiah M. Welch, Isaiah Coleman Jr., Isasha Gardner; significant other: Diane Huff; and many other extended family and friends. Wendell was an automotive technician by trade and enjoyed fishing, building race cars, and working with his hands in general. He was a genuine, caring, and loving person. He agreed with the teachings of Jehovahs Witnesses. The family would like to give a special thanks to Chesaning Rehabilitation Center for all the care he received and the above and beyond measures that were taken. A Memorial service will be held for immediate family members only in celebration of Wendells life. The family thanks everyone for all their prayers. We can all be strengthened by the promises in Gods Word at Revelation 21: 3, 4-God will put an end to death and suffering.
