Wickman, William C. Hemlock, MI Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a lengthy illness May 7, 2014, at the age of 70 years. William was born April 27, 1944, in Saginaw to the late Edward and Adeline (Godfrey) Wickman. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard. He loved working as a truck driver in Northern Michigan for Morley Brothers. After they closed he went on to drive truck for various local companies. He then worked for St. Mary's of Michigan as a Nursing Assistant. He owned his own magazine delivery service and was a member of the Shields Men's Club. He put on classic car shows and performed as a DJ for them. William loved the 1950's especially the music and cars. He married Cindy Taylor in 1993; she survives him. He is also survived by his children, Peggy Jaster, William Wickman, Joseph (Lela) Wickman, Jeffrey Wickman, and Sarah Wickman; step-children, Melissa and Dustin Kwaiser; several grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and 1 nephew and 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Wickman. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Rev Richard Mundt will officiate with burial to follow in Owen Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
