Burns, William Carl, Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Cartwright Care Center, age 66 years. William was born in Saginaw, Michigan January 7, 1946 the son of the late Patrick E. and Annabel C. (Zieroff) Burns. He married Kandis A. Leach May 14, 1966 and she survives him. William was a member of the L.O.O.M. Lodge in Mio, Michigan. He was an avid dog lover, especially Brittany Spaniels. He enjoyed hunting, fishing camping and traveling, especially to Canada. William was employed with Malleable Iron Foundry for 43.5 years, retiring in 2008. In addition to his wife, William is survived by three children, Cindy Ann (Lawrence Edwin) Chisholm; William (Kimberly Kay Jacob) Burns, Jr. and Kristin Lynn Burns; two grandchildren, Nicholas Patrick Burns and Devyn Kaelyn Burns. He was predeceased by a brother, Patrick E. Burns, Jr. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Frank Voris, OFM Cap will officiate with private burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the chapel, Thursday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
