William Clifford Simons St. Charles, Michigan Passed away into heaven March 3, 2017. Age 89 years. He was born September 11, 1922, in St. Charles to William Emerson and Elizabeth Myra Simons. On September 10, 1949, became the beloved husband of Delores (Mason) Simons. Together they raised a family and farmed in Fremont Township. Clifford was a founding member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Charles. Clifford is survived by his children, Suzanne (Michael) Brodbeck, Rev. Daniel (Maria) Simons, Penny (Bruce) Jungnitsch, Timothy (Kristen) Simons. Left to cherish his memory are grandchildren, Salina (Andrew) Steinbrenner, Rachel Simons, Allison Simons, Elizabeth Simons, Jacob Simons, Katelyn Simons, David (Dana) Brodbeck, Kirsten (Malachi) Brodbeck-Kenney, Seth (Melissa) Brodbeck, Emily Brodbeck, Luke Jungnitsch, Aaron Jungnitsch, along with great-grandchildren, Lucas Steinbrenner, Leon Steinbrenner, Henry Simons, and Ciara Kenney. His memory is treasured by his nieces and nephews, Diane Simons, Debra Tanner, Garry Simons, Dennis Simons, Jason Simons, Randal Mason, William Mason and Diana Mason. Clifford was preceded in death and will be greeted in Heaven by his wife, Delores, his parents, William Emerson and Elizabeth Myra Simons, siblings, Russell Simons and Helen Higgason, and son-in-law, Bruce Jungnitsch. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1123 W. Walnut Street, St. Charles. Rev. Jason Baldwin will officiate with burial in the Fremont Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N.
