Wescoat, William D. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, November 12, 2012, at his home. Age 85 years. The son of the late William A. and Grace (Keyes) Wescoat was born February 2, 1927 in Clio, Michigan. He married Joyce Ann (Glave) Ostrander, October 20, 1978. She passed away November 20, 2010. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #439 and the V.F.W. He was employed by General Motors in the Power Plant, retiring with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Bridgeport. He had his pilot's license and enjoyed flying and golfing. Surviving are a daughter and son, Nancy Brown, Saginaw, MI; Bruce Wescoat, NV; his step-children, Kristen and Steven Appel; Karen Holder; Jim Ostrander; four grandchildren, Robin Rohn, Rodney Rohn, Donny Wescoat; William Wescoat; his step-grandchildren, Amber Collins, Ethan and Camille Ostrander; several great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; a brother, a sister and their spouses, Allen and Rebecca Wescoat; Ruth Ann and Richard Vagts; several nieces and nephews. A son, Donald Wescoat, a grandson, Robert Rohn, and two sisters, and one brother, Wilma Kandler, Francis Wescoat and Phyllis Baldwin, have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012, at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241Williamson Rd. Bridgeport. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then on Friday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
