William F. Hofmann

William F. Hofmann Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday December 6, 2019, at Medilodge, MT. Pleasant. Age 81 years. The son of the late Thelma Grace (Eve) and William J. Hofmann was born December 22, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Betty A. Davis, January 7, 1984. She survives him. He was a Tool and Die maker, working for Ford Motor Co., then several shops in the Saginaw area retiring from R&R Machine in Freeland. He was a member of Swan Valley United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Clubs. He enjoyed bowling, throwing darts, and remote controlled model cars and airplanes. Mr. and Mrs. Hofmann loved to dance and eat at the Evergreen near Hemlock. Surviving besides his wife, Betty, are three children, Suzanne Dean and her husband, Steven; David Hofmann; John Hofmann; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their wives, Marlene Hofmann, Joyce Fisher, Rev. Bill and Bobbie Sue Davis, James Davis, and Charlie and Mary Davis; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Hofmann have predeceased him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Swan Valley United Methodist Church, 9265 Geddes Rd. Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may visit with family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Alzheimers Assoc.
