William Hartle

Hartle, William J. Saginaw Township Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 21, 2016, in Fort Myers, Florida, at the age of 79 years. He was born October 14, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the Lloyd and Catherine (Mackinnon) Hartle. He married Janet Davis Fisher on October 1, 1966. Bill taught at Saginaw Township Community Schools, where he coached soccer and swimming. He enjoyed family, friends, golf, travel, casinos, classic TV and radio, music, and gardening. Besides his parents, Lloyd and Catherine Hartle, he was predeceased by a son, Scott Hartle. He is survived by his wife, Janet Hartle; his daughter, Kim Fizell and her husband Tim, their children, Brian (Brooke) Bourcier (daughter Brae), Kristy Fizell and Nicole Fizell; four sisters: Beverly, Betty, Ann and Dell; several nieces, nephews and their families. Funeral service will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Monday until the time of service. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate.
