William L. Morrison

William L. Morrison Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Edgewood A.L.C. Age 88 years. The son of the late Grace (Anderson) and Wilbur Morrison was born April 21, 1928 in Cass City, Michigan. He married Joyce Hutchinson, September 23, 1946. She passed away January 27, 2004. William served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was employed by the U.S. Post Office, retiring with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and was a longtime Boy Scout Troop Leader with Troop 63, James Township. He enjoyed making people laugh and, most of all, spending time with his family. Surviving are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Brenda and Fred Parent; William Terry and Pat Morrison; Delynn and Bill Shattuck; Kim Reinert; six grandchildren and their spouses, Troy and Jennie Parent; Tracy and Christy Parent; Jessica and Ty Elenbaas; Jeremy and Jana Morrison; Joshua Morrison; Michael and Angela Reinert; seven great grandchildren, Alayna, Mason, Graham and Lily Parent; Marabelle and Jase Elenbaas; Alenna Morrison; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Grace Morrison; three grandchildren, Kelly Rae, Rebecca Leah and William Jason Morrison and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lois and John Gross. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Pastor William Terry Morrison will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Ellington Township Cemetery, Caro, Michigan. Friends may call at the chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday.
