Passed away Monday, May 25, 2020, at his home. Age 70 years.
The son of the late Dorthea and Edward Greenwood was born September 1, 1949 in Hemlock, Michigan. He graduated from Hemlock High School and served with the U. S. Army. He married Diane L. Morford, May 1, 1976. She survives him. He was employed as an Ironworker, retiring from Morse and Novel Ironworks. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed going to the Casino and playing the lottery.
Surviving are his wife, Diane, and two children, Michael Joseph Greenwod; Melissa Ann and Nick Kowalski; four grandchildren, Britanie Greenwood, Jazmine Greenwood, Derek Greenwood and Connor Kowalski; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Karen and Ron Chapin; Loretta Oldenburg; Edward and Jan Greenwood; two brothers-in-law, Jeff Morford; Tom and Cindy Morford; several nieces and nephews, one of whom is a special niece and caregiver, Michelle Morford. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Jim Oldenburg and a sister-in-law, Maxine Morford.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Saginaw. www.casefuneralhome.com
