William James Brockless of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Henry Ford Medical Center. He was 75 years old. William James Brockless was born on October 22, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late William and Elizabeth (Pagels) Brockless, Jr. He was a proud 1962 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Bill married the love of his life, Janice E. Krueger on May 15, 1965 in Bay City; she survives him. He worked for Saginaw Steering Gear as a machine operator; retiring after 38 years of service. Bill was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church on Brockway. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Saginaw Township Fire Department Station #1 for 18 years. Bill enjoyed traveling throughout the state of Michigan, fishing, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family, especially attending his grandchildrens sporting events.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Janice E. Brockless of Saginaw Township; two daughters: Suzanne Peek of Saginaw; and Glenda (John P.) Sienko, II, of Saginaw Township four grandchildren: Jessica Peek; William Sienko; Stephanie Sienko; and Patrick Sienko all of Saginaw Township; two great-grandchildren: Trinity and Arabella Beckman of Saginaw Township; two sisters: Gwen (Jack) Bindon of San Jose, California; and Lou (Bud) Prine of Brighton; and eight brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their spouses. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Debra Krueger; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Esther Krueger.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4705 Brockway. Pastor Daniel Garbow will officiate. Honoring Bills wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran School.
