Wilma D. McCaughna
St. Charles, Michigan
Passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 92 years.
The daughter of the late Ethel (Arnold) and Rudolph Miller was born June 7, 1928 in Gratiot County, Michigan. She married Albert Roy McCaughna, October 11, 1947. He passed away July 29, 2000. Wilma proudly helped her husband on the farm. She was a member of Nelson United Methodist Church. She was a founding member of the Lakefield Quilting group and participated in quilting groups all over the state. She was a 4H volunteer for over 40 years. She also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are a daughter, two sons and their spouses, Beverly and Rodney Dietzel; Keith and Stacy McCaughna; Brian and Sally McCaughna; seven grandchildren, Karl Dietzel; Melinda (Shannon) Sprague; Andrew (Michelle) Buckley; Lynette (Brenton) Wiegand; Aaron, Rachel and Carolyn McCaughna; nine great grandchildren, Caleb Lewis, Olivia Spraque, Symon Carmody, Summer and Eliza Buckley, Landen, Carsen, Hayden and Madisen Wiegand; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Sharon Miller; a sister-in-law, Marian Miller; several nieces and nephews. A daughter and son-in-law Genise and Tim Buckley and a brother, Roderick Miller have predeceased her.
A private committal service will be held. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020. Pursuant to the current state orders indoor building capacity is limited to 25 people, face masks are required, and social distancing encouraged.
