Winifred Erma (Brooks) Case Saginaw, MI b. March 4, 1920 d. April 2, 2017 Winifred Case passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living. Age 97 years. A private service took place Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Rob Richards officiated. Mrs. Case was born March 4, 1920 in Bay City, MI to the late Fred Brooks and Minnie (Lee) Brooks. She married Marshall R. Case December 19, 1937 in Saginaw. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage. He predeceased her March 17, 2000. Always a wonderful homemaker, she welcomed family for large holiday celebrations, Sunday dinners and countless weekends at the family cottage in Gladwin and later in Caseville. Winifred enjoyed sewing, ceramics and china painting, playing cards, and stained glass. She was also a lifetime member of the Eastern Star. Winifred is survived by three sons; Roger (Elaine) of Boyne City, Harvey (Bonnie) of Montrose and Marshall (Pete) of Saginaw, nine Grandchildren, twelve Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by Son and Daughter-In-Law Donald and Beverly Case, Daughter-In-Law Donna Case, and Grandson Jim Corbett Case. www.casefuneralhome.com
