Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was 53 years old. Yvonne Guerra was born on September 25, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Ramiro and Maria G. (Becerra) Guerra. She was a proud 1982 graduate of Swan Valley High School. Following graduation, Yvonne attended both Great Lakes Junior College and Delta College for two years. She worked in the food and beverage industry for many years at Bay Valley and Tri-City Airport. She later became licensed in insurance and began her career working for Farm Bureau, eventually becoming the owner and operator of her own business. Yvonne was the 2016 Woman of Color of the Year. She was a faithful member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church, as well as a catechist. Yvonne was a member of the Saginaw Exchange Club, volunteered at the Saginaw County Fair for Farm Bureau, and actively participated on the arson watch for the City of Saginaw. Above all, she loved and cherished her family, friends and community. She will forever be remembered for her indomitable spirit and her selflessness to all she loved. Surviving are a husband, Scott Rundell of Saginaw; four children: Mechelle Adams of Saginaw, Courtney (Frank) Romero of Kalamazoo, Blaine Morales of Lansing and Peyton Rundell of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Gideon and Carter Adams and Milania Romero; mother, Maria Vogler of Saginaw; a brother, Ramiro R. Guerra of Saginaw; father- and mother-in-law, Ken and Kathleen Rundell of Saginaw; and a brother-in-law, Ken Rundell, Jr. of Hillman, MI. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ramiro Guerra; and a sister, Andrea Guerra. A Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
