Zygmond Konuszewski

Zygmond Konuszewski Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Age 85 years. The son of the late Walter and Frances Konuszewski was born November 10, 1927, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Loveral F. Nagel, May 28, 1949. She survives him. He served with the U. S. Army and retired from the Bridgeport Public Schools. He was a member of Pulaski Hall, enjoyed slow pitch softball, enjoyed playing fantasy football with his sons and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan. Most of all enjoyed his family, particularly his grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving besides his wife, Loveral, are five sons and their wives, Zygmond and Mari Kaye Konuszewski; Donald and Barbara Konuszewski; James Konuszewski; Gary and Barbara Konuszewski; Dennis and Marcy Konuszewski; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Ted and Pat Kanuszewski; Felix and Nancy Kanuszewski; his special niece and nephew, Kathy and D.J. Simpson. The funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. William Hessler will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
